Please note: No one under the age of 21, including children in strollers accompanied by their parents, will be admitted to Taste of the Nation. Please bring valid government-issued photo identification such as a driver’s license or passport for proof of age.
Public Transporation Information:
By the CTA: The CTA provides seven bus lines with more than 200 buses serving Navy Pier daily. These are #29 State St., #65 Grand Ave., #66 Chicago Ave., and the #124 Navy Pier Express (serving METRA lines, Millennium Park/Randolph St., Ogilvie and Union Stations). During weekday rush hours, the #2 Hyde Park Express (stops running at 9:10 p.m.), #120 Northwestern/Wacker Express (serving the Ogilvie Transportation Center), and the #121 Union/Wacker Express (serving Union Station) run every fifteen minutes from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. throughout the summer. By Navy Pier Trolley: The free Navy Pier trolley operates every day beginning Memorial weekend through Labor Day from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Drop off point is the far West side of Navy Pier. Please plan to walk east to the Grand Ballroom.
Arriving by Car/Parking:
General Admission Parking: To arrive by car, please follow the signs for parking and proceed along the north service drive to the West Garage. A flat parking rate of $20 applies. Please note that there is a height/clearance restriction of 6ft. 3 in. in the West Garage. Upon arrival, follow the signs for Taste of the Nation Chicago.
VIP Parking: VIP Guests receive complimentary self-parking in the East Garage, nearest to Navy Pier Grand Ballroom. Individual VIP ticket holders and Restaurant and Mixology sponsors receive one parking validation per purchase. Virtual table sponsors receive two parking passes per sponsorship. Please follow the signs for parking and proceed along the north service drive to the East Garage. Please note that there is a height/clearance restriction of 7ft. 9in. in the East Garage. VIP guests may pull a parking ticket at entry, and then will receive a validated ticket at check-in. Please consider donating your parking back to Share Our Strength to further our work to end childhood hunger in America. We’re grateful for your consideration. Upon arrival in the East Garage, follow the signs for Taste of the Nation Chicago. Overflow validated parking for VIP guests is available in the West Garage.
Valet Parking: There are approximately 50 valet spots open for Taste of the Nation Chicago, available on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage those who wish to use valet parking and in particular, those with mobility considerations, to arrive early to utilize this service. Valet parking is not complimentary; cost is $30 payable to your valet.
