Hey AMERICA! Today's Your Last Day to Dine Out!

Hey AMERICA! Call the neighbors wake the kids, and even your household pets – it’s time to give a child in need a bite of the Big Apple (well that is where our restaurants are located so the line sounded good)! Two of the groups I do the marketing for, Fresh & Co and Café Metro are proudly taking part in Share Our Strength’s Great American Dine Out.
Today is the last day to participate!
If you’re unaware of the event, the Great American Dine Out (as you probably know since you are here on the website) is a fundraising effort to end childhood hunger. We’ve teamed up with Share Our Strength as a participating restaurant.
We believe that healthy food, and just food in general is the back bone to a blissful lifestyle. Everyone needs nourishment to fuel their bodies and brains throughout the day. And for young children not to be able to get a hearty breakfast before they head off to school prohibits them from learning to the fullest.
We believe in healthy, nutritious living for all ages. We’ve taken action to spread our awareness from our restaurants right to your local community. How? We came up with a storewide donation program where we are encouraging…No…DEMANDING…our guests and friends to come on in and donate just $1 and get $1 off your next in house purchase. Just by dining at one of our restaurants they will support our endeavor to end childhood hunger in America and have a great discount too!
We will have our promo teams ready to engage the guests as they enter at the No Kid Hungry table and if they sneak past us there? The cashiers are sure to get that dollar from them!
So if you know us and you live in the NYC area join us as we work towards this long-term change. If not, find the restaurants in your area that are participating!
We’re not trying to just feed a child today, or just give a child an afternoon snack. We want to end childhood hunger, and make sure that no child in America ever goes hungry again. Let’s work towards a better future – where no child is left hungry.
