Sarah serves as the Communications Assistant at Share Our Strength. While she was born and raised in rural upstate New York, Sarah is energized and refreshed by her new city lifestyle here in Washington, DC. Sarah graduated from Marist College in 2008 with a degree in both Journalism and French, and a minor in Global Studies. In the Spring Semester of her junior year at Marist, she spent five months abroad in the West African Country of Senegal, and upon graduation, moved to Haiti to serve as a translator and Professor of English Composition.
Sarah’s passion for international development and diplomacy resonates in both her personal and professional life. She feels very fulfilled working for Share Our Strength, as she firmly believes in using your career as a platform to improve the quality of life for others.
