Sara Gold is Program Analyst and Presidential Management Fellow with the USDA Food and Nutrition Service’s Office of Strategic Initiatives, Partnerships, and Outreach. She works with non-profit organizations and other federal agencies to increase access to and participation in national nutrition assistance programs.
Prior to joining the Food and Nutrition Service, Sara earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan and worked on issues relating to child health, poverty and food security in Michigan. In her spare time, Sara enjoys cooking and exploring vegetarian cuisine, and spending time with friends and family.
