Ruth Burrell

Ruth Burrell has demonstrated great leadership skills in her career in the nonprofit sector for the past 15 years. She was the Director of Client Services for the first Meals On Wheels program for children in the nation. While there, she also wore several hats, including Director of Volunteer Services and Fundraising. In 2005, she became the Director of Operations and in 2006, Ruth took on the role of Executive Associate Director and in 2010 she officially became Kids’ Meals, Inc.’s Executive Director.
On weekends, you won’t find her in bed relaxing. You will find Ruth working in Santa Fe, TX with mentally retarded/handicapped individuals. It is not often that a person gets to put both of their passions together to make a difference and love it.
