Laura Sugarwala began teaching nutrition and cooking to children at Foodlink’s afterschool meal programs in June 2010. She is a Registered Dietitian and completed both her dietetic internship and Bachelors of Science in Nutrition at Cornell University. Laura also holds a Montessori teaching certification and is a certified yoga instructor.

Currently Foodlink, the regional food bank for 10 counties in Central and Western New York, provides emergency food to nearly 125,000 different people every year.
