Lane Cardwell

Lane’s life revolves around food. He is the President and CEO of Boston Market, a national chain of 500 restaurants featuring rotisserie chicken and homestyle meals. During his 32 years in the restaurant industry he has been involved with over 36 different restaurant concepts and eats in 600 restaurants a year to stay current on industry trends.

His involvement with fighting hunger began over 15 years ago when he joined the board of the North Texas Food Bank in Dallas. He is a past president of the organization and helped to establish a community kitchen within the food bank to prepare fully cooked meals for many of the 500 agencies that it supported.

He believes that kids have the right to grow up without worrying where their next meal might come from.
