Diana Flora

My name is Diana Flora, and I am a graduate of the University of Michigan with a dual degree in Anthropology and Spanish. My decision to participate in Operation Frontline through AmeriCorps came after working in a homeless shelter in El Paso, Texas. After spending three months in the shelter, I was paying more and more attention to what our guests were eating. It was then that I decided to delve further into nutrition education programs for the low-income bracket. I hope that Operation Frontline is the first step of my long journey in this field!
