Andrea Rougé

Andrea Rougé, RD is the Metro Program Manager for Cooking Matters Colorado and has been with the organization since 2005. Currently she manages the Metro Denver Area Cooking Matters courses and staff and oversees projects related to helping families with limited resources eat more healthfully on a budget. Andrea is a Registered Dietitian and has a passion for teaching, cooking, and sharing her nutrition knowledge. She sits on a local Head Start Health Advisory Council as well as the Hunger and Environmental Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group. She is active in the Denver Dietetic Association and served as president of the association for the 08-09 year, also receiving the 2009 Recognized Young Dietitian Award. Andrea is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Health at the Colorado School of Public Health. When she isn’t working or studying, Andrea enjoys getting to the nearby Rocky Mountains for a hike with her husband and dog.
